Tarikh Keramat !

Minggu lepas 7hb Mei 2012 pada hari Isnin lebih kurang 10:51 pagi, seorang insan teristimewa, ibu mertua saya Hajjah Salmah Che Rose telah pergi meninggalkan kami untuk selama-lamanya.

Al-Fatihah ! semoga Roh almarhumah ditempatkan di sisi Roh orang2 yang beriman & beramal Soleh. di ampun dosa2 arwah dan dikurniakan Jannah oleh Allah swt.

p/s : senyuman manis Arwah masih terngiang-ngiang di jendela minda  dan akan kekal abadi hingga ke akhir hayat kami. Terasa waktu ini semakin singkat walaupun telah mengenali Arwah lebih 21 tahun.

Arwah sepatutnya menyambut Hari Lahir nya pada 15hb Mei ini. Namun Allah swt lebih menyayanginya - MasyaAllah

Suka Dan Duka adalah Warna2 kehidupan...

Last two weeks had been very hectic!

Alhamdulillah, Syukur ke hadrat Illahi kerana diberikan kesempatan untuk meneruskan kehidupan yg fana ini.

Ya Allah Ya Tuhan kami. Tiada Tuhan yang disembah melainkan Allah dan Muhammad itu pesuruh Allah.

Ya Allah Ya Aalimun, Ya Hayyun, Ya Sami'un, Ya Basiirun, Ya Mutakkallimun,

Keluarkan diri kami dari kegelapan ragu2.
Bukakan lah hati kami dengan pintu Ilmu
Dan hiasilah diri kami dengan akhlak yang baik dan kasih-sayang.

Ya Allah Ya Aalimun,

Sinarilah hati kami dengan cahaya hidayahMu
Sebagaimana Engkau menerangi bumi dan langit dengan rahmatMu

Ya Allah Ya Hayyun,

Sesungguhnya kami bersyukur dan redha di atas segala takdir yg telah Engkau tetapkan

Few things I want to share after more than 3 months missing in action.

1. Sibuk dengan urusan duniawi seperti bermain golf dsbnya - guess had spent so much time over this subject matter last 1st Q this year sehingga berjaya menjadi Juara Medal C in Mercedes Trophy Tournament during 1st Qualifying Round @ PGR on 18th Apr 2012.  Next in line will be qualified for Malaysian Final on 20th June 2012 @ Saujana GCC before going to Brisbane for Asian Final in August & World Final in Sept 2012 @ Stuttgard if I win ok :D dengan izinNya.

Work wise maybe close to 50 % if not more - as usual so playful :D

2. My life time compatable golf partner has left for Singapore as of yesterday for his new undertakings for  an indefinite period. Time to muhasabah diri on what next after this. I mean what is life going to be without regular golf partner :(. In any case All the Best to him!

Reminder : will be competing in Prudential Astro Golf Tournament on 19th May 2012 @ Cinta Sayang. it means will still busy on the course & driving range over next few months from now - dengan izinNya.

3. Finally met in person someone I heard by name early this year when he was unofficially diagnosed with lung cancer. coincidently, first meeting him in GH Penang + one more during his 2nd treatment there. My 3rd Meeting and final one was on 22nd Apr 2012 at GH Alor Setar.

He passed away on 24th Apr 2012 at around 7:05pm after battling with lung cancer for about 4 months. Now you see, later you don't. Al-Fatihah! semoga roh sahabat saya Almarhum AB Aziz Abdullah ditempatkan bersama Roh orang2 beriman dan beramal soleh.

Morale of the story : Life is too short to be wasted. Stay Focus & Healthy inside out OK.

Personally, what was instrumental is on item # 3, first time meeting him was in the GH Penang, second time was in the coffee shop near GH Penang after he was discharged. 3rd time was in the hospital again GH Penang. the 4th time was in Alor Setar Hospital on 22nd Apr 2012 - recent visit. The final one was yesterday during his funeral @ Jitra.

4. Attended Crash Workshop organised by UUM & Akmal via PFFA over two weekends + Study Tour @ Customs Station Bukit Kayu Hitam and KEK Exam on 20th June 2012.

5. Flew down  to KL few times + F1 Sepang with Haji Hilmy - so far never drove down until further notice.

New Year Refresher 2012

Another year gone like a wind. what's up bro? another set of new year resolution? but again not accomplished. How?

On a serious note, I'm heading 47 comes March this year.

So, what have you achieved last 10 years and may be to reflects some of the unforgettable moments.

2002 - still fresh at 37, highly energetic, was on the go with my previous employer Schenker. won runner-up the first and the last Golf Tournament organised by SilTerra. life was as if like forever :D

My only child Liyana was 10. had denggue fever and admitted to Island Penang Hospital for 2 weeks during the month of Ramaddan. She was discharged on the eve of Eid Fitri. What a relief and we were so greatful that she is now on first year pursuing her Degree at USM.

My only wife :D was still working with SONY before she opted for early retirement to enjoy lifeto the fullest by end 2004.

My "Ayah" was still there to listen to the dilemma of his children for advice before he passed away in Feb 2008 :(

my wife, Liyana and me together with sis in-law performed our first umrah in Apr/May 2005.

me and my wife together with our business associates performed our second umrah in 2007.

I called it a day with Schenker after being a loyal servant to the German Government for more than 12 years  in July 2008 - to venture into the things i like to do & be free from being an employee with fixed working schedule.

Our ultimate journey was when my wife and me went to perform our Haj in Nov/Dec 2008 with another 3 young couples. I was 43 and was extremely greatful! My personal advice, if we're ready financially, physically and spiritually, better go when you're still young and strong. Please go and later you'll know why. Frankly speaking, it was the best ever journey and we shall treasure those moments till the end of our lives.

In between, we went to Perth twice, Singapore many times, London, Reading in UK, France and Paris Disneyland, Jakarta, Bandung Indonesia. Personally, went to Munich, Dresden, Frankfurt Germany. also went to Johanesburg & Capetown in South Africa.

NOW what have you got for 2012 ??? please be extra serious and focused this time around.

1. New Resolution

1.1 Personal
1.2 Professional
1.3 Business Empire

1.1.1 To read, read and read - at least one book a month especially related to your committed new resolutions including the Holy Quran.

1.1.2 to watch your weight closely - to lose 3 kg per month and 12 kg by end 2012.

1.1.3 to be free of major debts especially unproductive one like Credit Cards etc

1.1.4 to pray the "wajib" prayers in the mosque/surau especially Subuh, Asar & Isyak.

1.2.1 out to work by 7am daily except when you have better thing to do.

1.2.2 to realise the business plan presented to BOD on 1st Jan 2012 - to work the plan and set the time line.

1.2.3 to attend management & business workshops at least twice

1.3.1 To double up 2011 achievement !
1.3.2 Focus, Focus & Focus...
1.3.3 Act fast, faster & fastest - ahead than the competition

In any case, 2011 was a great year despite of the global economic uncertainties.

Let's be a doer than talker period.
